CHILLI PRAWNS(SHRIMP)
Ingredients
- Medium Size Shrimp (Prawn) - 10 Peeled and D-veined
- Green Chilies Slit In Vertical - 2 -3 (As Per Taste)
- Spring Onion - 2-3 White cut into Half and Green Chopped
- Oil - 2 Tablespoon
- Oil For Frying - 1/4 Cup or As Needed
- Soy Sauce - 2 Tablespoon
- Egg - 2 Tablespoon
- Corn Starch - 2 Tablespoon
- Salt to Taste
- Vinager - 1 Tablespoon
- Garlic Cloves - 5-6 Finely Chopped
- Ginger - 1
- Red and Green Capsicum - 1/2 Cup Chopped In Dice
- Red Chilli Sauce - 2 Tablespoon
- Chicken or Vegetable Sauce - 1/2 Cup
- Honey - 1 Teaspoon
- Chili Garlic Sauce (Siracha) - 1 Tablespoon
- Chopped Green Coriander - 2 Tablespoon
Instructions
- Heat the oil for frying prawn.
- In a bowl take peeled ,washed and deveined shrimp add 1 tbsp soy sauce,salt,egg and corn starch mix nicely ,make sure that corn starch coat each prawn.
- keep aside for five minutes until oil is hot.
- Slowly add one by one prawn in a oil and fry until they are done. remove from oil and keep it on a tissue paper.
- In a wok heat 2 tbsp oil (you can use same oil) add garlic ,green chilies and ginger stir for a minute add 1 tbsp soy sauce on a high flame.
- Add white part of spring onion stir for minute add capsicum,chili sauce,chili garlic sauce,honey stir for minute now add prawns and salt stir again.
- In a bowl take 2 tbsp corn starch and add little chicken stock to make paste.
- Add remaining chicken stock to prawn and let it boil add vinegar mix well now add little corn starch mixture ( make sure to add only to coat the prawn nicely)
- Add green part of spring onion mix well and switch of the gas.
