CHCKEN CURRY

Instructions
- For Onion and coconut masala Heat the oil in a pan add all whole garam masala fry for two minutes then add onion and stir until onion turns brawn, then add cashew and stir for two minutes . turn the gas off and add coconut, mix well let it cool .In a mixer make a smooth paste (This masala is optional)
- Cut and wash chicken nicely.
- Marinate with all the ingredients and keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Heat the oil in deep pan and add crushed garlic, cinnamon, bay leaf, cardamom and stir for a minute.
- Add onion and stir until it turns lite golden brawn then add chili powder, turmeric powder, special masala, ginger garlic paste and stir for few minutes.
- Add tomatoes ,stir until oil separates, then add potatoes and salt as per taste (please remember we already add salt to marinate chicken) cover and cook for two minutes.
- Add marinated chicken (if there is lever do not add now) and mix well.
- Cook chicken five minutes (stir occasionally).
- Add yogurt and 1 cup water mix nicely cover and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add coconut milk ,onion coconut masala 1 tablespoon ,chicken lever and chopped chilies, cover and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- check if chicken and potatoes are cooked if not keep another five minutes,
- Turn of the gas and add chopped green coriander.
- Serve with Roti, Naan or Rice.
